ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Committee role is to manage the Club’s main fundraiser in an efficient and ethical manner.

Chair is encouraged to engage committee members by ensuring they are assigned tasks. Attention should be paid to having the appropriate number of members to ensure the successful completion of the tasks.

Chair shall hold monthly meeting with committee members keeping them informed and up to date on club activities.

Chair shall attend monthly meeting of Board of Directors reporting on committee activities, seeking their input and advice as and if required.

Chair and Committee:

  • Schedule weekly drivers (4) and processors (4).

 

  • Manage Collection Day: Tuesdays, after 10 a.m. and before 3 p.m. – Teams of two (2) to visit each Vendor:\

 

  • Manage the count process, Tuesdays 4:30 TO 6:00pm – at Boston Pizza – i.e., Count and verify the content of the vendor bags, recap the e-transfers received since the last draw, ensure data entry is accurate and balanced, recap weekly processing results, conduct a random number draw and prepare for next week’s draw.

 

  • Pay the winter – request cheque from Club Treasurer and arrange with Club web master for cheque presentation and photo. Distribute photo via social media.

 

  • Arrange for update of weekly display in each vendor location.
